The basics
LinkTheme lets you make a free link-in-bio page at your own short link. By creating an account or publishing a page you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Community Guidelines. If you don’t agree, please don’t use LinkTheme.
LinkTheme is run from Australia. “We” and “us” means the people who run it.
Your account
- You need to be at least 13 to use LinkTheme. If you’re under 18, check with a parent or guardian first.
- You sign in with a link we email you, so keep your email account secure. You’re responsible for what happens on your page.
- One person can hold a username for as long as they use it. We may reclaim names that are inactive, misleading, or impersonate someone, and we keep some names for ourselves.
Your content
You own what you put on your page: your name, bio, links and pictures. You give us permission to store it, display it on your page and in previews, and make copies needed to run the service. That permission ends when you remove the content or close your account, apart from backups and records we need to keep for safety.
You’re responsible for making sure you have the right to share what you post, and that it follows our Community Guidelines.
Safety and removal
We check links against Google’s list of unsafe sites, and anyone can report a page. We may hide or suspend a page, or close an account, if it breaks these terms or the guidelines, if the law requires it, or to protect visitors. When we suspend a page we’ll show you the reason in your editor. If you think we got it wrong, email linktheme.com@gmail.com.
Links to other sites
Pages link to sites we don’t run. We aren’t responsible for what’s on them, and opening them is at your own risk.
The service
LinkTheme is free. We’re working to keep it running well but we can’t promise it will always be available or error free, and we may change, add or remove features, including themes. If we ever stop running LinkTheme, we’ll give reasonable notice where we can.
Liability
As far as the law allows, LinkTheme is provided “as is” and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by content or sites run by others. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can’t be excluded.
Closing your account
You can stop using LinkTheme at any time. To have your account and page deleted, email us from the address you sign in with.
Changes
We’ll update these terms as LinkTheme grows. If a change matters, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it applies. Using LinkTheme after a change means you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
